NOTES ON THE ARGYLE AGREEMENT BETWEEN GUYANA AND VENEZUELA. DECEMBER 13, 2023. The United Nations was created after the failed League of Nations following World War 2 for the purpose of instititionalizing diplomatic relations among nations.
