Kaieteur News Plagiarised my article

As a legal writer, I have contributed several articles to the Commentaries page of the Caribbean Net news and have received many favourable comments. I was particularly upset to find that the Kaieteur news of Guyana my homeland, had brazenly and in blatant disregard for all the rules of professionalism in journalism, the law , and of decency, copied wholesale and published my article under another title and with no attribution to me,instead they claim to have taken it from someplace called Hoovers, though I certainly could not find such a site and only published with Caribbean Net News see
The editor ought to be ashamed to display such disgraceful conduct , non-professionalism and downright thievery even as they claim to highlight corruption in Guyana.Typical of persons of that ilk, that newspaper is not likely to retract nor correct its behaviour.
See photos and read the article below.

  1. Dear Guyanese brothers and sisters,
    Time For Action
I am sorry to say this, but the Guyana Government under the Leadership of President Bharat Jagdeo has shown how hopeless, weak, and ineffectual they are in addressing the Law and Order situation in this once wonderful country. The Government has betrayed the Indian people in particular who find themselves the prime target of gun wielding bandits. The Court system is corrupt which adds to the woes of these people. The police force needs to be totally revamped. It is time for this pathetic Government face facts and get off its hind sides and do something meaningful.I hope readers will not jump to their defence and say what a wonderful job they are doing.Without international loans and grant the country would be worst off. I suggest priority action must be taken now to go after the criminals. I have an action plan available which I am prepared to discuss publicly or in private if those in power are prepared to listen to us living abroad.
